Bye Bye September at the Disneyland Resort

Today, my friend and I got a late start.  We tend to leave for the resort between 9:30am-9:40am, but today we didn't leave until 10:15am.  Parked at the Toy Story Parking Lot and it took about 25 minutes to park, get in line for a shuttle bus, get on the shuttle bus, have the bus take us to the Disneyland Resort and then get off.   And then another 10 minutes for the bag check.  O.o!

As we walk past the admission ticket booths, looking towards Disney California Adventure, the time is 10:52am

Right behind Disney California Adventure's entrance, the frame work for what was once the Greeting's store.

Because I am behind schedule, we book it to Mickey's Fun Wheel with the hopes that the Cast Members were not putting small parties together in one gondola. Even with it being almost 11:00am, the lines for both swinging and non-swinging were manageable that the Cast Members were not putting parties together just yet.

As we slowly move upward on Mickey's Fun Wheel, we see one of the Cozy Cones

More work being done with Luigi's Flying Tires building

Carthay Circle Theatre from Mickey's Fun Wheel

Flo's V8 Cafe

More wire mesh being added to the backside of the Cars Land mountain range

Taking a look over at Mater's Junkyard Jamoboree.  It looks like the gentleman is at a control console

Cozy Cone Motel

The Courthouse for Radiator Springs Racers

Wood panels for the Courthouse

Behind the trees it looks like one of Mater's Junkyard Jamboree vehicle can be seen.  It looks like the seating portion of the vehicle is not attached, just the chassis

Looking at the loop for California Screamin'

The wire mesh along the backside of the mountain range of Cars Land

The entire launch area of California Screamin' has been repainted to the new blue

Working on the wire mesh

Some people have said this loop looks smaller than the old one. But it looks the same to me.

The Little Mermaid ~ Ariel's Undersea Adventure

I was told of this a week ago, but forgot to report on it last week.  Ariel received a new tail.  It may be hard to see in the pictures, but the new one looks shinier than the previous one.

An arch-like appearance in the mesh

Lights have appeared on the lamp posts

The Courthouse

The old Greetings Store

The walls have been removed from the street leading to Muppet Vision 3D and Monster's Inc.  Other than a missing Outdoor Vending cart and crosswalk lines, I can't see a difference right off hand from before

Carthay Circle Theatre

Future home for Elias & Co. Store for Buena Vista Street

Some of the tarp was blowing in the wind

These decorative pieces are lying down. You can kind of see one already in place on the right behind the tarp

Heading out to Disneyland now

Riding the monorail!

Construction for Buena Vista Street

With just the frame work of the old Toy store, one can see right through it.

Going on again...

Some repaving over at the hotel shuttle bus area

Over in Frontierland, pin trading galore taking place

It seemed busy today at both parks.
