Before The Garden Opens

Please Note:  The Paradise Pier restaurants had a possibility of soft opening. But during the time my friend and I were there, they were still closed.  Apparently, later on they opened up. So this pictorial takes place before the soft opening

With that, let's take a look at what is happening around the Resort this fine Thursday morning

We may be passing through these new gates soon

The Carthay Circle Theatre's steeple now how tarps half way around

The "pump house"

Another look at Carthay Circle Theatre

Closer look at the top of the "pump house"

Somewhat side view of Carthay as we head to Paradise Pier

Because the rope drop next to the Little Mermaid was dropped a bit early, was able to catch a glimpse of all of those Guests heading towards California Screamin' and Toy Story Midway Mania.

The walls have come down from the Paradise Pier restaurants

Small barricades still block Guests from accessing the area

Open road

The transformation is so much better than what was there before

One of the barges that will be used for the 4th of July fireworks prior to World of Color

A test show had been done the night before as evident by the debris in the water

Mickey's Fun Wheel

Work continues on Cars Land

Mater's Junkyard Jamboree

Looking at Radiator Springs Racers's track

Close up of a section of track with some wire-mesh boulders

Some new posters have appeared on the bottom level wrap-around section of Silly Symphony Swings

To give an idea on how much space they take on the wall

Bayside Brews with the sign up

A look at the menu.

Trying to catch a glimpse inside Boardwalk Pizza & Pasta

New themed signs

Quick glimpse

Checking out the patio

Look at the fancy chairs! Way better than the previous aluminum ones

Looking towards Paradise Garden Grill

We were in the area from about 10am - 11:15 and there was really no sign they were going to soft open or we would have hung around a bit more.

Does this mean another trip to Disney California Adventure tomorrow to check out the new restaurants? :)

Another sign pointing the direction of restrooms

While in line for Goofy's Sky School, the Fast Pass machine boxes were "open"

The line isn't too bad for Goofy's.  Waited about 17 minutes

A stock of Goofy's Sky School fast pass tickets in the machines

The new part of the wall between Pacific Wharf and Cars Land

A tree has been planted

Some WDI on top of the new entry

I can't wait for the Expo!

- Disneyland -

The Moonliner rocket tarps have been taken down. Glad they kept the same colors

Monorail time!

All the work taking place in front of the Carthay Circle Theatre

That will conclude this pictorial
Thanks for stopping by and checking it out

Until next time...
