Welcome to the Disneyland Resort on this Friday the 13th
Getting to Disneyland as the gates open for Rope Drop
Visiting the day before Valentine's Day
Guests heading toward the end of Main Street so they can be closer to their first destination
Lovely floral arrangements in Town Square
Some pretty flowers in the Hub too
What I love first thing in the morning, is that no one rushes to get a picture in front of Sleeping Beauty Castle with the tarp up
We can see some progress with the paint job the Castle is receiving.
Of course, this lighter shade could just be the primer
On the of the Castle, by the shortcut to Snow White's Wishing Well and Tomorrowland, there was this painter painting
You Got Mail!
With the winds subsiding from the previous couple of days, it was time to put the tarps back up on the scaffolding of Sleeping Beauty Castle
Olaf has this look of "get me off from here"
"it's a small world" tarps and scaffolding
But don't worry, the attraction is open for your enjoyment
I had the whole ride to myself... practically
What are you staring at?
The painter repainted it back to the pepto pink
Walking by the new Pandora jewelry store to check it out, but it hadn't open yet. So i'll check back later.
You know, when I heard that Pandora was moving into the old La Mascarade d'Orleans, I was curious as to why them.
But then I saw this video that someone posted on Facebook.
And wouldn't you know it, it's presented by Disney and Pandora
Giving the Royal Courtyard some lovin'
Time to go to Tomorrowland and ride the Monorail
Man, three modes of transformation here in Tomorrowland, but only two are functional
Checking out the progress of the transformation of Condor Flats to Grizzly Peak Airfield
We can see that Taste Pilots' Grill has been repainted to a pistachio green color
Pandora has open. But I was too chicken to go in. Too many Cast Members in such a small area
Who wants to take a ride on a wheelbarrow?
Try going the drop in that!
I think it's time to head over to Disney California Adventure
It's almost 11 a.m. and the entrance seems busy.
Did they hear about the final weekend for Luigi's Flying Tires and that's why it's so busy? ha ha
Scaffolding in front of Soarin' Over California
A whole lot of shaving going on
We can see that pistachio green color on the roof top of Taste Pilots' Grill
And scaffolding is up in front of Soarin's building
I can see the Kellogg's Truck again.
No more Monsters U merchandise cart
Final weekend for Luigi's Flying Tires until it floats away ... forever
World of Color refurbishment taking place
Painting the stone bricks
You know, maybe Disney California Adventure should have a themed "Not A Through Street", that way people won't be surprised, upset, or angry that they walked all the way towards the Grand California Hotel's / Grizzly River Run's entrance before they realized that they have to turn back around
And speaking of Grizzly ... it's closed for refurbishment
The bear out front told me
That will conclude this week's pictorial around the Disneyland Resort
Thanks for stopping by and checking it out
Feel free to leave a comment
Until Next Time...
