The Start of Alice in Wonderland Vine Safety Rails

I was told that sometime over the weekend, the temporary rails on the Alice in Wonderland vine were removed.

So I thought I would go check it out.  In the back of my mind I thought to myself "What if they started to install the rails that will run along side the extended vine.

I get to Disneyland, head towards Alice in Wonderland, and look what I see....

Sure enough, rails have started to go up on the vine

The recently added extension of rock work.
You can tell what section was added just by the color difference.
Even though it looks like sloppy work, I am sure this will be corrected before the attraction opens up.

I went on the Monorail to get another look.
Sorry for the lens flare.

It sort of reminds me of the concept illustration  post I did way back in 2010

  1. Those don't look half bad, at least not at this point! Kudos to Disney for listening to feedback about the awful temporary structures and designing something permanent that fits in nicely.

    Thanks for the update!!

    1. I think it will all come down to how it looks when it's all installed and the point of view from the caterpillar vehicle
