Carthay Circle Theatre Exposed and More

Walking to the Disneyland Resort, there were so many people heading in that same direction. All I could think about was how busy it may be at the Parks, and it's not even June 15th yet.

So many people hanging out in the Main Entry Plaza

Although it doesn't look bad heading into Disney California Adventure

Some trees next to Oswalds

Looks like a new palm tree is going to be replanted here

Cars Land from the Fun Wheel

The Cozy Cone Motel now states names across each cone to tell you what they are selling

Luigi's Flying Tires

Some new Italian flags have been strung across

Looks like something is taking place on Route 66

Looking inside where a palm tree once stood, but is now getting replaced

Some lights on the bridge

Mater's Junkyard Jamboree

Well will you look at that. They have finally replaced the billboards in Paradise Pier with more period time pieces.  The far right has been there for some time already

Gotta have a Coke

Over at the Cove Bar

A new themed sign has been installed

Looks fabulous

He's whistling while he's working

Checking out Cars Land from the Blue Sky Cellar patio

Looks like a film shoot is taking place

It's Lightning McQueen

Signs along Route 66

At the same time, it appears they were training new Cast Members over at Mater's Junkyard Jamboree

For your safety signage

The Carthay Circle Theatre without walls!

This building is gorgeous!

Looking down towards Buena Vista Street

Let's just look at all the details of this place

Gorgeous

Trying to get a shot of the Ticket window without my reflection ha ha

Carthay Circle Theatre entry doors

Lunch Menu

Look who's out there. It's Lisa Girolami!

An open courtyard between Carthay and Disney Jr Live

Male and female costumes for the Carthay

And here it is.....

This must be for Tweeddle Dee and Tweeddle Dum

Fog machine

House of Cards presented by Fuze

The dance table for the Full Deck... or something like that

Lawn furniture

Another fog machine. This place is gonna be dope

I hope this means that the "Welcome to bug's land" banner won't be coming back

Love the details on this sign

Over at the Condor Flats restrooms, another set of painted signs

Heading into Disneyland and there are lines!

Bunting has once again been placed on Main Street

A new sign for Carnation Cafe

It's the same frame, but it replaces "Blue Ribbon Bakery"

Facade being stripped away at the soon to be Fantasy Faire

A new facade to hide these

The Monorails were having difficulties...again. Sheesh! I waited 2 hours for it to get up and running. But I couldn't wait any longer. So this update won't have any shots of Buena Vista Street from the Monorail :(

Well that will conclude today's pictorial update

I hope you enjoyed looking at it.

Until Next Time...

  1. Great update as always! To bad about the monorail! Any chance of an "in between" fieldtrip to get som shots from that angle?

  2. That looks amazing, the Carthay is prettier than I ever imagined. I hope that is what the entire park will look like once the park reopens in June.

  3. Man that Mad T Party stuff is ugly. I wish that entire backlot area would just be bulldozed and they build a new ride. Ugh..
