A Very Windy-ter Day at the Disneyland Resort

Oh man, what a windy day it was today at the Disneyland Resort.  On top of that, with it being close to the Christmas holiday, it was pretty busy.

Walking along Harbor Blvd

They closed the far tents that are near Disneyland's entrance. So the only two open were the middle tents and the tents next to Disney California Adventure.  That seemed dumb, especially since it was just a little after 10am

Just past the tents, looking at the construction taking place for Buena Vista Street at Disney California Adventure

Look at the flags from Main Street's train station blowing in the wind

Once inside Disney California Adventure, progress is being made!

When my friend and I got there, the Fun Wheel hadn't opened yet...

Bother Silly Symphony Swings and the Golden Zephyr were closed due to wind...

And Goofy's Sky School was closed too! Not sure it was was due to wind or just technical difficulties

Just as we were making our way past the Swings, the Fun Wheel opened up and it seemed like everyone rushed too it. Before you know it, there was a long line for the stationary gondolas.

Because you could really feel the wind once you were towards to the top of the wheel, it was hard to get pictures.  My friend was saying that it's probably 60mph winds that we were feeling up there.  Our gondola was even swaying in the wind.  I can tell you it was rough!  So I apologize if the pictures of Cars Land aren't the greatest

Radiator Springs Curios and some strands of lights in the back

Strands of lights over Luigi's Flying Tires

Some new neon signs appeard!

Trying to get good shots of the signs

Cozy Cone Motel food station

Carthay Circle Theatre

It was so windy, some of the ornaments from the tree had fallen off and some Cast Members were trying their best keeping Guests away

Walls once again may appear in Paradise Pier, especially in front of the Little Mermaid building

Not only are their Peace signs but also "Flower Power" on the lamp posts

Trying to get a shot of the signs, but the poles are in the way.

The queue for Disney Jr

The elephant was actually swaying a bit in the wind.  It was quite fascinating

Both new pumps at the Fly-n-Buy

Disneyland time!

- Monorail-
Because of the wind, the monorail had all the windows up.  Sorry for the next couple of pictures and the glare

Only at Disneyland can you see icicles blowin' in the wind

Heading out now...

That will conclude today's pictorial
Thanks for stopping by and checking it out

Until Next Time..
