It's All About The Arch

With Grad-Nites taking place the past month, the Toy Story Lot was off limits on the Thursdays I would go to the Parks. But with them over for the year, It was so nice to park in the Toy Story Lot again

Maybe they could do away with the "Lion King Trams" tag

Just a bit after 12:00 and California Adventure felt very busy

Ever since World of Color Fast Pass took place at Grizzly, this road has already seemed busy

A crowded area

This was the end of the queue for World of Color Fast Pass.  The sign out front stated tickets for 10:15pm, but I have a feeling these people will be getting the 11:15pm

Work on the Little Mermaid building

The front arch taking shape

A small ladder installed

The vines looked as though they have been trimmed to be roughly the same width of the trellis

-Mickey's Fun Wheel-

Outside Mickey's Fun Wheel, looking across Paradise Bay near the popcorn cart

Looking across the bay from the right side of the Turkey Shack

Looks like the Mama duck is protecting the little ducklings from the sun

Mesh frame work for Ornament Valley in Cars Land

-Disneyland-

The Mickey floral without the "Celebration" hat

Flags have been placed half staffed today

Patriotic flag banners adorn Main Street U.S.A.

This vendor caught my attention. It is as though he fits in perfectly with the time period of Main Street U.S.A. with his costume and mustache

Cranes interfering with the whole theme of Main Street U.S.A.

The new bobsled that had been hidden under a tarp over on this side of the mountain for some time has been moved

The Jolly Trolley depot freshly painted

Debating on whether to go on "it's a small world", I had noticed this out-of-the-way "hidden" Mickey

Getting ready for the All-Stars

One last look at the Mickey floral before heading out

That's it for today.
Thanks for looking.

Until next time...

  1. Very cool! I wish I could come visit D-land more often, but alas being in Oregon has some disadvantages. :) Thank you for the "trip" my 5 year old was enjoying the pics!

  2. The banners on Main Street are the same as they were on opening day.

  3. The flags are at half staff for the 900 year old senator that just died.
